Kappa Krush

Our fall and spring semesters start off with Kappa Krush and the perfect way to catch up with our new members and guests! Each Kappa invites several friends or crushes to the dance and meets up with them at the venue for a fun night of dancing and, hopefully, finally making that connection!

Kappa Formal

Kappa formal is our second event of each of the semesters and gives Kappas a chance to dress up! Formal is a great time to celebrate with our friends before leaving for winter or summer break.

Senior Appreciation

It is always difficult parting with out beloved seniors, but we know that they will be off accomplishing great things and making us proud! To give them a proper farewell, however, the women of Zeta Xi get together to present seniors with individual scrapbooks and letters at an end of the year ceremony. 

Kappa Kappa Gametime

Kappas are proud fans of the Yale Bulldogs. We love to get dressed up in our blue (and blue) and white, head off to a variety of tailgates with other Yalies, and fill up the stands to support our athletic teams. At games, we enjoy sitting with our sisters and cheering on the Bulldogs while wearing our gear designed specifically for each year!
Every November is “The Game” against our traditional rival, Harvard University, and it is one of Zeta Xi’s favorite games of the football season. The location switches every year between the Cambridge and New Haven campuses of the respective schools. To celebrate, the entire campus participates in various  events in throughout the entire weekend leading up to the actual game with all of the students from the opposing school, hosting them overnight and showing them a great time on campus.  If it is at home, Yale  students head over early to a massive tailgate right outside the Yale Bowl and cheer “Boola, Boola!” to urge our football team onto victory. If it is away, Yale Kappas make the journey over to Boston. It is one of the most exciting times of the entire year, and Yale Kappas always look forward to the festivities that accompany it.
