Yale Kappas are a fun and fun-loving group. Our sisterhood is more than just going to events together, however! We gather in our chapter house less than a block away from Yale’s central campus to watch movies, bake cookies and hang out throughout the year. We study together, anything from physics to politics to philosophy. We support each other from the stands and from the sidelines. But most of all, we love each other and we love Kappa Kappa Gamma. Check out the cool things we do with our sisters across the campus and across the world. Throw what you you and always, love KKG. ”I’m so glad that I amma…”
Zeta Xi Chapter
Sweet Home, Kappa Gamma
The Yale Kappa Chapter House is located less than a block away from Yale University’s central campus. In the heart of downtown New Haven, we have a culturally rich and vibrant city right at our doorstep. One of the most valued Kappa experiences is the opportunity to live in the Chapter House in a member’s junior or senior year. Girls get their own rooms that they are free to make their own. It is a three level home equipped with two kitchens and tons of hang-out space for the girls. The Kappa house acts as a home base for Kappa chapter life.
Throw What You Know!
No matter where they go in the world, members of Zeta Xi have lots of Kappa pride. You’ll see us throwin’ up our owl eyes, KKGs and fleur-de-lis from Paris to Disneyland and everywhere in between. We love decorating our notebooks with Kappa doodles and can’t help but stock up on Kappa gear. Wham! Bam! Kappa Gam!
Kappa Kappa Gamma is a sisterhood in every sense. Each new member is an impossibly perfect little sis–a “little”–who is matched to a big sister– a “big”– who is wise beyond her years and gives the best advice. From then on,the girls are bound to their lineage, complete with “grand-bigs” that reach back to the start of Kappa on Yale’s campus. The bond between sisters is incomparable to any other relationship!
